New York Consumer Center is looking for an individual to join our Focus Group Facility as a part-time Qualitative Assistant and Telephone Recruiter. This client service position requires strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our QAs perform clerical work, food service, and simple audio/visual equipment monitoring. In addition, they are responsible for timely responses to client requests, including, but not limited to, photocopying, and clean-up duties. Responsibilities also include scheduling respondents over the telephone for focus group studies. This is not a sales position and requires following a script on a computer screen, reading and speaking clearly, and listening to and recording responses accurately. All applicants must possess a friendly, outgoing personality, present a well-groomed, professional appearance, and are courteous, well organized, have basic computer skills and pay attention to detail. You must feel comfortable speaking on the phone or in-person to a client, a business, or a consumer. Training is provided. Experience in the food-service industry a plus and college students are encouraged to apply. Hours are flexible (days/evenings depending on schedule, hours at times can be as early as 6:30 am and as late as 11:30 pm).

We are looking for Interviewers to join our team scheduling respondents over the telephone for focus group studies. This is not a sales position, and requires following a script on a computer screen, reading and speaking clearly, and listening to responses accurately. We are looking for interviewers who are courteous, well organized, have basic computer skills and pay attention to detail. You must feel comfortable speaking on the phone to either a business or to a consumer. This is a part-time position. We are looking for people who have a flexible schedule and are available to work daytime. Some evenings and weekends if needed.
